US/China Trade War

For China, her trade with the US is apparently only 20%.
You would think her trade: 
                              1. with ASEAN will go on 
                              2. with the EU will also go on 
                              3. with Africa nations will also go on 
                              4. with India will also go on
                              5. with the silk road nations will go on.

But in some inexplicable way, it appears that his might not be so. This is something that I am not able to fathom.
Take a bottle of find Bordeaux wine. The Chinese or the Russians still want it. The French are in very keen to sell it.
Take a television set. The Chinese produce it and French want it. 
So how is it that this inter-trade flow cannot go on.
The Chinese just love German beer who are keen to sell it to equally keen buyers. And the Germans are keen on Chinese tech products. So what is choking this inter-trade?
