The world leaders who attended this event truly did give due acknowledgement to the nations whose sons sacrificed their lives in this war.
However, it was noticed, that no recognition was offered to the 25 million Russian men who sacrificed their lives in this war nor the near half million of Indians who served under their British commanders.
