Kandahar, the woe of American troops

You remember those triumphant days when the Berlin Wall fell and the USSR crumbled and Russia went with Gorbachev's perestroika and glasnost.

America was the top and unchallenged hegemon in the world and from it came the top hegemon's apologist, Francis Fukuyama and his famed book: The End of History and the Last Man. It was an incredible exaltation and adulation to American triumph and glory over the cold war.

And that served as the basis for G. W. Bush - that in one day's bombing it ended the days of the Taliban and its leader Mullah Omar. He was seen on his motor cycle in rapid flight into the distant horizon.

The war was won!

No!

Out of the woodwork, out came the Taliban and this war that started in 2001 is still going on. It is because the evidence is in this news item:

Now, I ask you, is it really true that the taxpayers of America are all RAH-RAH for this war.

If they are NOT, then what the bloody hell are their sons and daughters still dying there?

America is very ill-led by its gerontological Senate, its senate and its President.

Did the great US media giant Rupert Murdoch enlighten you about this?
