VAT

Saudi Arabian Royalty have always had a very paternalistic concern and care for their flock. Their people never had to pay Income Tax.

However, times have changed and now this is about to be hoisted on their people:

True, the VAT is for all nations around the Gulf but they are whacking their own previously precious unwhackable people.

This is an incredible first step down the Western road that you and I trek to our chagrin, anger and disappointment.  It is disappointment because our politicians are always wanting more money and more money from us. They tax us at every turn. 

They already tax us on our eating, wiping, coughing, gambling, drinking, womanizing. 

What they really want is to find a way to tax us for breathing.
