Russia to War?!

What the US has to wonder is whether China and Russia have the same agreement that the US has with Taiwan:

If Taiwan is attacked, 

it will be deemed an attack on US.

So: 

If Russia is attacked, 

it will be deemed an attack on China.

Russia alone has enough nukes to obliterate all of the US down to its last village in Montana and the US has enough nukes to obliterate all of Russia but not down to every village or small town in Siberia.

China alone has enough nukes to obliterate all of the US and the US may not have enough nukes to obliterate all of China down to its last town.

So . . . who the hell is going to come out of such a nuke exchange better off than the other. So, NYC, Washington, LA, SF, Las Vegas, Boston, New Orleans, Charlotte, etc will be all gone. Is this what the US wants?
