It is the way of the world!

Miss Canada 2015 was declared persona non grata by China and was disallowed entry into China for this event:

The problem is that sovereign nations do not like persons to:
            1. call for the separation of Scotland from Great Britain
            2. call for the separation of Xinjiang Province from China
            3. call for a separate state for Sikhs in India
            4. call for the separation of Wales from Great Britain
            5. call for the separation of Tibet from China
            6. call for a separate state of Tamil Nadu in Sri Lanka
            7. call for the separation of Quebec from Canada.

For one private individual of some fame to do so is unfortunately an intolerable irritant. And when that nation you speak against is a nuclear power with USD$1.3 trillion in its foreign reserves and fleets of nuclear fighters like this:

and a navy of not insignificant magnitude:

and a fleet of nuclear powered subs:

it would seem that it might be best to know your place in the order of things.

It is one of the hardest things in life to be humble.
