Few in the West know about ASEAN

ASEAN  is a natural grouping of emergent economies and its big brother is China.

It is unlike the new Trans Pacific Trade Treaty of Obama which is very artificial and controversial and which deliberately exclude the biggest possible player in the region.

Between themselves the ASEAN nations have a trade that amounts to hundred of billions.

It is a very tight grouping and no one member is prepared to ruffle the feathers of any of the others.
