This is news that the US is just stirring the pot.
The problem is that when you do this again and again, people are not going to take you seriously.
The US is a great nation and a great military power. It is best that it stances with a poise in which the world knows to respect what it says. And to earn that respect, the US must act on what it says. The US cannot say XYZ and nothing comes out of it.
Here is an example.
There is a sudden silence on the TPP negotiations in Hawaii. How come? What is happening?
There has been no news that this 12 Pacific Nation free trade treaty the the US initiated has concluded successfully.
If this attempt dies on the table, the US owes an explanation to the American people why this attempt at a free trade treaty failed.
If it does fail, the logical question is:
WHY did it not see the inherent flaw
that inevitably meant its collapse?
And to tell the American Nation:
What was this flaw?
