Hi. We are back.

Grand bend is located on the shores of Lake Huron. It is north east to the opening of the waters into the Niagara River which flows onto Niagara Falls and Lake Ontario.
We have long lost the OK to drink the waters of Lake Ontario. Lake Huron's fresh water is fresh and drinkable. Lake Huron is also one of the largest lakes.
Grand Bend's position is a great geographical privilege and those who have their homes and cottages there are at a truly blessed site. 
The family of Mitt Romney have had their family holiday home in Grand Bend, Ontario. This bespeaks to their wit to find such a place for their family holidays.
Of course we had a wonderful weekend with our friends the Lawries. 
Like everything else in life, you have to know where to go to eat.
The master of the house is also an excellent cook. So we had it good when we ate out and we had it even better when we ate at home.
The only problem for us was that we were severely whacked in our card games of Euchre on this visit. The fact that last time we had the upper hand does not count. The Lawries know that for suffering this demise at cards has left us severely irked and vexed.
