GDP of different places in China

I once read a paper that cited that certain urban conurbations in China had a GDP equivalent to UK and some were even greater.

Now interesting China offers this new take:

However, what is the missing piece is the actual dollar amount of the GDP in these areas and how they compare with the GDP of Germany, Japan, UK, France, Norway, Italy and Taiwan. 

However, I would surmise they will compare handsomely with the countries cited here. 

In turn, their total will be a true measure of the GDP of China and by implicate extension her national wealth.
