Getting Ready for a Good Fight

In South China Sea is a pond of water around which are nations local or native to it. It is also a potentially heavily contested location.

Logically, it is best to let the nations indigent and thus native to it to sort our their differences. Such a best case scenario is probably not to be because there is one country that is literally thousands of miles from this pond that would like to put its nose into the dispute.

Which nation? Guess!

So, in anticipation of this unwanted but kind helpful contribution from this outside party, in its ninth Chinese Defense White Paper,2015, is the clear statement that China will be prepared to take on the US in a friendly military conflict that hopefully will settle all dispute between the locals.

After the Korean it was a maxim of the Pentagon that the US was not well advised to become involved in a war in Asia. The result of the America's war in Vietnam is witness to the wisdom of this maxim. This advent of a 2015 American war in the South China Sea could be be an ill-advised adventure of the American spirit of being helpful.
