WW II ended in 1945.

WW II ended over 69 years ago.

Surely, it is a bit harsh to describe what the Imperial Nippon army as barbarous.

However,this is a stricture that cannot be erased because the Imperial Nippon Army was really barbarous in its doings.

They were not only barbarous doings in the Korean Peninsula and China but also in Myanmar and South East Asia. As for the British and Australian prisoner's of war, they will have no euphemisms for what they had to live through.

To this day, Nippon has not really owned up to what it did in the  way that Germany has done so.
