WW I - the most idiot war of all time

the nations of Europe all seemed to topple into warring each other for a very HIGH CAUSE.

Of course I do not know what that HIGH CAUSE was for Europe to send the millions of her young men to die.

If it was possible to have a replay in real time the killing of the Arch Duke and knowing what we all know about this idiot war, would Britain still have send her young men into Ypres and Canada into Flanders Fields.

The guilt of that war remains a burden on the West and there is no way out but to ceremoniously remember the sons they murdered by sending them into those killing fields.
