From the Economist, there is a news item of unconfirmed reports that China has told state-owned companies to stop working with American consulting and technology firms for fear of industrial espionage.
Certain Chinese banks have also been told to stop using IBM servers.
If true, this is a retaliatory move by China against the U.S. for indicting 5 specific Chinese army officers for cyber spying on American companies including Alcoa and US Steel.
If true, there is obviously a lesson here.
