If John Kerry wishes to go back into Iraq with Iran, it is not impossible nor improbable that this might not overtake a company of U.S. troops:

If this happens, the U.S. will skid off in its usual tsunami of venomous angry genteel hate rhetoric and after exhausting themselves in all their howling, barking - they will still have to face the humiliation of their lost men. And to the back of it, they know there is yet more to come and the blows will be even harder.

Is Kerry on a path as futile as Bush was with his Shock and Awe?
