Sometimes it is not possible to tel the truth because the position you have

Today, there is perturbation spreading across the world. It is arising out of an unfolding fact that the US will soon no longer be the number one economic power in the world. This fact displeases and offends the US.

Currently, in PPP terms, China is the number one economic power.

However, very soon the US will not even be in the top four economic powers in the world.

The top four will be:

China

India

ASEAN

Japan

and then the 

US.

Once, in the Cold War, the Russians thought they were in a military 'war' contest with the US. The Russians therefore biased their entire economy to provide the wealth to support their military development program. The result was in the end the Russian economy simply could not support the Russian military goals and aims versus the US and its economy collapsed. 

This meant:

VICTORY 

TO THE US IN THE COLD WAR!

Today, the US is biased in its thinking that it must ensure it remains the top military power over China. So, like Russia, it wants its entire economy to do the necessary doings for its Military Industrial Complex, MIC. 

Then one day, to its horror, it will find its industrial economic base just cannot support the demands of the agenda of its Military Complex and like the Russian economy of the Cold War, it will collapse.

Do I want to see this happen to the US? 

My answer is: 

NO!

But the elite and the intelligentsia in the US do not have the sight of what Kishore Mahbubani and I have. It is they who will bring their own country down.
