And when you are the top hegemon you need WHY to underpin your wars.
In this respect I was advised that today 2018, the US is involved in six wars. As a matter of fact the US is involved in 16 wars.
The media ensures that these wars are never publicized, disclosed and reviewed before and by the American taxpayer.
