The teaching of Socrates

I must apologize to all of you who have faithfully visited my blog.

I forgot to tell you something that I learned from Socrates.

It was his teaching that;

It is the duty of all administrators

of government to ensure the growth 

in the prosperity of their nations.

My question is, which authority has given to our .gov.CA to slide us into debt - day after day after day after day after day.

Who has give permission to our municipalities in Ontario to run us into deb - day after day after day after day after day.

Those who do so, should be visited by the police. A police forensic review be done and upon its findings, politicians and civil servants must be brought to book.

They must all pay back the debts that they incurred on the municipality without our consent and after that to serve a prison term and denied ever to run in politics again or serve in the civil service. And all civil service pensions shall be forfeit.

You can sense that what I am saying wins the outpouring of agreement by every US taxpaying citizen.

We in Canada are very different! Whenever, our elite tell us they have to raise our taxes our response is always:

Are you sure that is the amount you really 

require for you financial bungling.

If you need more, we will be more than 

willing to bail our nation, out of the

 mess you have created for us.

In Egypt, they are so different. Every time they try to drop a subsidy or  put a tax on something there are colossal riots with the burning buses and tires and other things. Swiftly the government as to withdraw.

When you think about it, who would like to have as co-citizens.
