Because the Saudi have a Kissinger devised contract that binds every nation in the world who wants Saudi oil is to pay for it in US dollars.

This of course means that what ever the US desires, it needs only to print its dollars and it can get it.

It save trillions in labour costs by shipping all its manufacturing over the China and back came the manufactured good that was so priced that even the poor of the US could afford it.

Now, I hear that the Chinese may say to the Saudis: Do you still want us to buy from you? If the answer is: Yes, the the follow on will be: We will pay you in Yuan, a very good and esteemed Chinese currency! If nor we will buy from Venezuela!

Once Saudi Arabia agrees = end of the Petrodollar.

This will be the end of the extra-ordinary privilege life of the US.
