Of course hegemonic THE Donald cannot back down. He simply cannot because if he does he knows that in Chinese Culture he would lose face. And as he has a Chink streak in him he knows he cannot lose face.

He will impose his $200 bn tariffs.

The Chinks have said that if he did so there would be a very 'comprehensive' response. Now there are more than top economist in the great universities of America who can more than script for THE Donald the list of choices as to what this 'comprehensive' response might be. And he better ask for what would be the worst of the lot because I am sure that the Chinks apply it. For them, they just do not want THE Donald to up the ante. They simply have to crush him on this pass and end this.

If they succeed, and THE Donald backs down, I can assure you that the Chinks will do everything to save his face and generously do everything possible to restore things ante bellum.

With that the world will heave a sigh of relief.

However if Brooklyn man wants to thug it out, he will impose a $750 bn tariff.

If  he does this, the Chinks will have no alternative but to riposte with a super-mega comprehensive response.

If they do this and THE Donald then takes it to the edge the abyss, the world entire economic and financial system will be at the point of collapse. 

No amount printing of US$ printing will save even the US economy.

By then, China's US$3 trn would be worth nothing.

This in turn would be an incredible load off the US. Can you imagine a US$ 3 trn debt vanishing before your eyes.
