US Military Power

I was recently amazed to hear a US General voicing the incredible power of the US military. 

In any engagement it will inexorably have the high ground with it the demise of its enemy.

This claim is simply not well witnessed by the repeated failures of the US military in Kandahar Province and of its big fu*k up in the Iraq War. And everyone knows of its performance in Vietnam.

When I listened to this US General, I was suddenly stunned to wonder if he and I were living on the same planet.
