War in Afghanistan

This war started by George W. Bush and Tony Blair is still not over:

The US has poured in over a trillion dollars to win this war.  Now they are learning the lesson taught to the Russians who preceded the US to war in Afghanistan. They lost the war and left.

I wish the US was honest about it and admit: 

We cannot win this war. 

We are not willing to pour in our national treasure and wealth into such a cavernous  insatiable pit of hunger for our hard earned US dollars, even though the Fed is printing as furiously as it can the requisite USD to pay for this war.
