The Great and The Good all come to China

In ancient times, and for centuries, as the Middle Kingdom, it was the thing that all Emperors, Kings, Princes and Lords of the nations of the world, would come to Beijing to He-who-held-the Mandate-of-Heaven.

It all ended when Yuanming Yuan was demolished by a British/French force.

And the Jewish family, the Sassoon, had full rights to import and sell opium across all China to every Chinese person, for the British.

However, it seems the ancient convention that we speak of above, has resurrected itself, thus:

And today the British do not have monopoly rights to sell opium, heroin, crack, cocaine, marijuana, crystal meth and ecstasy in China today.

But how, secretly, they wish they still had the BRITISH EMPIRE by which to do so.
