The GREAT I and the BIG ME.

At the very height of the utterly unlawful civil disorder at the G20 meeting in Hamburg, one of the offenders was interviewed by a TV reporter.

The man denounced "those 20" at their Conference as undemocratic, as none of the voices of the rioters were heard at the conference. Certainly he bemoaned the injustice that he was not allowed to voice his views to the G20 Conference.

The reporter could immediately appreciate the sense of the man's grievance; and in the first instance, so could I!

Subsequently, it occurred to me that if he was allowed to voice his views at the G20 conference, it logically would mean that all those 150,000 rioters would have to be allowed in to voice their differences to the G20 leaders.

If each was given 5 minutes to say their piece, this would take 750,000 minutes or 12,500 hours. This would be the equivalent to 1532.5 8 hour-working-days.

If this be true then, every leader of the G20 would have to sit through the equivalent of 4.2 working years with 1 hour lunch break/per working day with no allowance for time to pee or to wipe themselves if they needed to. And they would not be allowed to interrupt with questions as each rioter had his say.

This claim by unlawful rioters to be heard at the G20 Conference or any other conference is extremely egotistical, immensely incredible and utterly impractical.

If such a same demonstration was done in the Forum in ancient Rome against Caesar, the Praetorian Guard would have been summoned to deal with it. The slaughter that would follow would be hailed by every citizen of Rome.

If this same Hamburg demonstration took place in Beijing in Tienanmen Square, the civil authorities would have had no option but to put it down. However, it would be a far better reprise than the first time. The world utterly disapproved of what happened the first time.

This time round there would be a fair number of people who wished the German Army was called out to put the demonstration down.

No nation can endure CIVIL DISORDER. Allow it and the HONOUR and DIGNITY of the STATE is LOST TO THE WIND.

SHAME ON ALL
WHO FAILED THE STATE.

ALL happens to be every citizen.
