We may forget this, but it was the US who first introduced to the world the idea of FREE TRADE and with it the phenomenon of GLOBALIZATION. 

Now the amazing thing is that the US under Trump is in full retreat from what the US had begun.

Alas, the die is cast. Free Trade WORKS. The nations of the Asia will not abandon it because the evidence is on the ground. They are prospering exponentially with Free Trade. 

To retreat into PROTECTIONISM would be INSANITY. And they know it.

In turn, the EU and Asian Nations are stunned and bewildered by The Donald's stance. 

When they recover from their being stunned and bewildered they will inevitably conclude that The Donald's thinking has a touch of the bizarre . . . bordering perhaps on a touch of insanity.
