From 1802 was the beginning of China's humiliation. 

Britain wanted Chinese tea and insisted it pay for it in opium that it would sell in China. 

The Qing opposed this outrageous payment scheme. 

That led to the Opium Wars, Mark I and II. And China was whacked.

Somewhere in that British whackology of China were the roots for the dispersion of the Chinese people into the world. 

Neither China nor her Diaspora have ever forgotten the 2 centuries of humiliation that followed. 

Now, the clarion call is made and the banner is raised for the Diaspora to help.
