So, for now the Chinese are getting a good dose of top US hegemonic irritability:

Today, US is the top hegemon.

But from Day 1 to 1802, China and India were the two economic hegemons of the world.

Only from 1802 to 1999 was the US the top economic hegemon. It Goldman Sachs that forecast that in 2130 the top economic hegemon will be China then India and in third place will be USA.

As Kishore Mahbubani has observed, the two century hegemony of Europe and the USA is an aberration of history.

So he says:

All aberrations will fade in the end.

The shift is already taking place.

If then you resume your historical position as the top hegemon, you cannot avoid the mantle of becoming the top military hegemon.
