It is a naval drill

Note the kind of euphemisms they use for their naval battle training operations:

On page 5 is the full picture of this Chinese naval ship. 

Does it not look very much like the US destroyer Fitzgerald. 

The question is who is more powerful and faster.

Of course the only way you can find out is if China and USA have a good set to and WAR.

Then you will have the result.

But then the result does not depend just on the hardware. 

It depends on the naval skills of the respective commanders and their immediate naval commodores.
