It is becoming clearer and clearer to the world community that the permanent seats of Britain and France on the Security Council is becoming more and more bizarre.
The free trade area of Shenzhen in Southern China near old Canton has by itself a GDP greater that that of the UK. And to boot the UK is in DEBT, DEBT, DEBT AND MORE DEBT.
How on earth does it represent anybody on the UN SC and wield a veto vote?
It is next to impossible to argue for France to cling onto its UN SC seat.
Isn't it amazing how brazen these countries are. They do not have the sense, finesse and grace to surrender their seats for the greater good of the world.
They are in fact, stoically waiting for the time when they will be pushed off their seats.
And this is something, I certainly do not want for it to happen to Britain.
The French are different. They have the je ne sais quoi by which to take it when it comes for them to - GO!
