For one to proclaim that he had come to reaffirm THE (Mosaic) LAW, Jesus was probably an Orthodox Jew of his time.
It is therefore, BEWILDERING, that contemporary Israeli rabbis oppose the place of Christmas trees in Israel's hotels. After all, in Christian tradition, he is recognized as a rabbi.

And rabbis have all founded their own idiosyncratic movements with ardent followers.
