This is not really sensible

Here we have President Obama posturing American military know-how over Europe:

Europe has a population of over five hundred thousand people and it is the world's largest economy. 

Several of her nations are top ranking world producers of very high end military equipment comparable to that produced by the US.

It is not in debt to the tune of some twenty trillion dollars at a formal level. But if the debt is to include that of its states and municipalities it is in excess of one hundred trillion dollars.

And Obama wants to protect Europe?

Who on earth is he kidding? 

The US has not won one war since WW II except for its incursions into Panama and Grenada.
