Such was Mongot style

One grandson of Genghis Khan, Hulagu conquered Iraq and its wondrous capital Baghdad.
During the initial phase of the occupation, there were Mongol patrols of the city.
Such patrols were not well received and such patrols were ambushed with varying degrees of lethal casualties upon their hated conquerors.

To deal with this problem the entire district of the city in which such an outrageous attack took place the Mongols would call forth the entire population of the said district; and at the appointed hour, every one, man, woman and child were put to the sword.

This is no difference from the kind of retaliatory bombing the US took off the hide of the Vietnamese during the time of the US Vietnam War; or the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki during WW II.

The first time the Mongols exacted their vengeance it had no effect. In fact it got the Iraqi, even as the are today, even more murderous.
So, there were were more ambushes other districts with varying lethal successes upon the Mongol patrols.

In turn the population of each district was shepherded out an at the appointed hour, every man, woman and child was put to the sword.

Finally it came to pass that no more ambushes were put upon the Mongol Patrols.

Now respectively in Paris, Brussels and California are nests of these eager dedicated guerrillas whose friends and relatives reside and all are claiming bewilderment and confusion that the deeds of these killers as they were all so kind and loving.
Now, if Hulagu Khan were alive today, you too will be bewildered with his reign of guided missiles on the whole district where these people live.

And in the districts in which the parent of everyone of those who did the 9/11 attacks, he would have obliterated entirely those districts in which their families reared them and brought them forward to do their duty for Dick Cheney who  pre-prepared the dynamite charges on those 9/11 buildings
