This is unfortunately a reality that can only seems to unfold out of a follower of the Islamic faith.

The male of the gender by virtue of his superior physical strength has always bullied his co-species who is his opposite gender.
And historically this male abuse has happened in all cultures and it still continues, most infamously and egregiously in the sacred state of the Prophet, Blessed be his name, to wit Saudi Arabia. And we know that in Saudi Arabia the treatment of women by Western liberal standards is egregious to the extreme.

And now in the above example we have a man whose ascendancy and exaltedness over his wife, and in London, is beyond belief.

Two years in jail is really modest PC fare.

In Singapore, his punishment would begin with 15 lashes across his bum in the presence of his mother, father, brothers, sisters, uncle, aunts and cousins. And in the presence of the wife mother and father, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles and cousins. And also present staff the designated prison  that are to be present and the world press.

Then duly humbled he would begin his sentence which will be double the time he had enslaved his wife.

He would then forfeit his British citizenship and then be deported back to Pakistan, his beloved land of his birth. 

Or would he prefer to be sent to Saudi Arabia where Saudi Arabs are famously known to look down on and despise people of from the Indian sub-continent. But it is the land of Mecca and Medina where on earth he knows he closer to Allah than anywhere else in the world.
