We have a new government in Canada.

Our previous Prime Minister was Stephan Harper. He was a two term Prime Minister and across his time in office, it seems he succumbed to the AlistairHornevirusofHubris.

As this infection took over, he was to see himself as a great war leader because he sent our men into active military combat in Afghanistan and Iraq. More latterly he sent our CF-188 Hornets

to bomb IS, ISIS and ISIL in Syria and the lands of the IS Caliphate.

Many of us could not understand how an Alberta University MA Economist transmogrified himself into a War Lord. Unlike Churchill, he has never had any cadet training in school. He never studied in any military academy. He never served as recruit of the Canadian Army. He never went into any military combat situation. He never faced a bullet aimed at him in a battlefield.

However as PM he was now the arbiter of where our men were to go and fight and if lucky, be wounded and return and be medalled. 

Our new PM is Justin Trudeau. He has a BA in Literature and a BEd. He is an  ex school teacher.

We pray the AlistairHornevirusofHubris will never infect him.

And we pray he will retrace Canada back to its famed foreign policy in which we will not send our men and women into active combat but when nations who have expended and exhausted their hubris in the shame of the death of their men and women in war, we will come in as peace keepers.

As peace keepers, our men have been killed. Therefore do not say of us that we prefer the path of peace keeping because we fear death for our fighting men in war. It is that we see the senselessness of war, the waste men and women and the squandering of our national wealth.

As things stand, our politicians have immense difficulty in husbanding our national wealth. We have a constancy in going into debt every month.
