We all recognize that the US is the hegemon even today.
However, facts are facts.
Even if the population of the US rose from three hundred plus million to four hundred plus million it is still way below that of Europe and it is way below that of China's one trillion and three hundred plus million . . . may we wonder . . . one trillion and five hundred million plus.
Which then is going to be the top hegemon , , , one day and not too far away from to-day?
Britain is willing to open her market to China; and the in flow of Chinese billions will reform and refashion Britain for her role in the 21st Century.
The Britons are an ancient people; and they have played this game for millennia.
I have every confidence that in the end it will turn out to be the best for her.
This I wish for her.
It is in this new reality, the US will find her way.
And this too I wish for her.
