Here is the uber test of humaneness, charity and pragmatics.

No matter what the GOOD want and the PC wish, this:

this is the uber test of Teutonic humaneness, charity and pragmatics.

In the end, any realist can reasonably and logically surmise that Germany will fail on all three.

In our visit once to Arizona, USA, there was a restaurant up in the hills that offered to any challenger a free steak, if he could finish it. If not he was to pay for it.

The weight of that steak as I struggle to remember it was something life over fifty pounds. The similitude is that with reference to the number of refugees that Germany will be confronted with is that of man who has to eat a one hundred pound steak in one sitting.
