A well known usurped INALIENABLE RIGHT now on the path of affirmation.

The Roman Catholic Church is opposed to:
                        a. Divorce
                        b. Masturbation
                        c. Homosexuality 
                        d. Lesbianism
                        e. Artificial birth control
                        f. Abortion 

g. Self-determination to end one's life.

It has lost its position with respect to the top 6 of the above list.

Now thankfully, it is on the way to losing the argument of the 7th, g:

Once, it held that:

       1. a circle is the most perfect of all possible things

       2. the sun went around the earth

       3. we did not move

       4. the earth is flat

       5. the earth is at the centre of the universe

       6. women are inferior to the male of the species

6. and other "scientific" conclusions that were also rubbish.

However, because of its power, and you held a contrarian position, that would be heresy.

I do not have to remind you how Mother Church got rid of heretics . . . in those long gone days ago - thank God!

You talk of bias, prejudice, fanaticism and extremism . . . there were all there, they were never removed . . . so what have they all morphed into the 21st Century.
