It is amazing that it can all be like a theater!

Elephants always remember.
Human beings forget and most surely they do.

Dubai, a once nothing gulf fishing village soared into world fame and prosperity. It was underpinned by Arabic black gold, that was in turn underpinned by massive transfers of Western wealth because we had to pay for Arabic black gold to keep our economy going.

Suddenly, all this has changed and this change now comes with a sense of permanency because of shale oil compounded by Saudi greed to retain its market share of black gold trade.

This then is the result for:

Of course I am concerned for the people of Dubai. Who can take pleasure in other's demise and suffering.

However, there is a lesson. It is to tread quietly and softly. Do not rush. Be patient and be humble. And these are things that men find so hard to do, even people who knew what it was to be humble fishermen. It is our woe that elephants never forget but we do.
