validates 22 air strikes. The problem that I have is what is the metric(s) that we can use to determine these 22 air strikes have been beneficial to the West, i.e. to you and to me?
The second problem is the cost. Each bomb and each missile has to be bought from the famed industrial-military complex of the US.
They never reveal the cost of each strike or. So we have to use our common sense and knowledge base and GUESS.
So let me guess.
I would say each strike would cost between US$750,000.00 - US$1,000,000.00. This 22 air strikes would have cost between
US$16,500,000,.00 - US$22,000,000.00.
Now, this a lot of money. Suppose, the military takes 165 days off work each for breaks such as Thanks Giving, Easter, Martin Luther Jr. Day and so forth plus its formal holidays. Then the total cost of these 22 strikes for the remaining 200 working days would come to US$4,400,000,000.00.
This is quite a sum of money.
If you paid one US mercenary US$1,000,000 just to kill one IS Jihadist, then in one 200 day working you will have depleted the IS fighting force by 4,400. Do this a second year and you will have reduced the IS fighting force by 8,800. Do it for a third year, you will reduce the IS fighting force by 13,200. Do it a fourth year . . . and there will no men left in the field fighting for IS.
Without question this is to get the bang for the buck and it will eliminate IS.
