WOW!

My mother was the first woman who graduated as a Licentiate of Music from the London Royal College of Music in the then protectorate of Malaysia in the piano . For this we all have had a long tradition with music and above all with the music of Chopin. Today, I thrill in my grandson Charles who is learning to play the piano. It was one the great events in our lives when my wife and our two daughters paid our respects to him at his grave in Paris.
Now this happens:

It is such a great tribute to this young man to win this International Chopin Competition.
He is the first Chinese person to do so and the youngest. It is an event I never dared not to hope for.
Vicariously we all share in his achievement.

Bravo!
