The United Nations is warning foreign fighters are flocking to militant groups in Iraq and Syria on an "unprecedented scale." A U.N. report obtained by The Guardian finds 15,000 people from more than 80 countries are fighting alongside the Islamic State and similar groups.
Canada, under the PM Lester Pearson, developed a unique foreign policy in which it would enter a conflict zone as a peace keeper.
This foreign policy has been radically altered under our current PM, Stephen Harper. He has accepted the task that has been outsourced to him by the US;
You and your country will take on the co-task of curbing
the up welling tsunami within the umma against the US.
They are up-welling against us because of our rigidly intransigent support
of Israel - the one and only example of true democracy in the Middle East.
For this, Canadians were recently shocked and surprised that one of the native born countrymen took up arms against this very government of Stephan Harper's by gunning two soldiers at our Parliament. Then he attempted to enter it when he was finally shot dead for his attempt.
Our Stephan has forgotten the axiom:
Those who live by the sword will die by the sword.
Some people think he is an IDIOT.
