Gosh can this be really true-to-actuality?

I honestly do not know if one can believe this:

What this means that internally China has the world's largest market anywhere. It really has no need to search for an overseas market for its manufacturing and agricultural products

That it has to leaves me to doubt the claim of these figures re the numbers of its middle class!
