It may be the Code of Bushido with its attendant psyche of high exaltedness is what holds the Nipponese back. If it is then, they have to set aside this Code because the high warrior caste that lives by it have been eliminated a long time ago; and it was done by Nippon herself. All who aspire to live by it are mere pretenders.
