The urban rich and elite were opposed to the rural unwashed electoral base that brought in Madame Yingluck Shinawatra; and engineered an urban revolt against her.
It impugned such a pressure on her that she called a second election to see if the electorate would choose her again.
They did and then the coup followed.
And now they say the rural unwashed electoral base approve of its generals - that is a claim that needs to be proven.
