Here in Ontario, we had a previous Premier who signed a contract for two power stations and for finally giving back word, the contract he signed entailed a penalty of over one billion dollars.
When do you sign to buy two cars by a certain date and you give back word that you are not proceeding with the purchase and in the contract you are now to pay a penalty of ten million dollars.
This is an example of utter fiduciary mismanagement of public money.
Has he been charged? NO! There is not even a mention of criminal negligence on his part.
