If we were to be logically logical, then we will have to say that he descended from the Israelites that left Egypt with Moses. These were the people that Jwh, God the Father HIMSELF, offered a covenant - an ABSOLUTE BINDING DIVINE CONTRACT.

It was also ABSOLUTE that no Israelite was allowed to marrry a non-Israelite because the progeny was befouled with the impure and defiled blood of the foreigner.

Jesus was descended from these people, pure and pristine of the blood.

Therefore, the contact of the covenant does not include semites such as the issues of Ishmael the first born son of Abraham who today are the Arabic nation or the descendants of Jacob's brother, Essau, or Khazarian onverts to Judaism nor any other kind of converts to Judaism.

There simply is no record that Jwh ever offered anything similar to these people. And if God himself did not offer this to them, they ain't got it!

Therefore, no amount of claiming that you are chosen too, will make any difference. Without Jwh offering you the covenant, you have not been chosen  by HIM.
And if you read the Torah, Jwh clearly expresses his nature very clearly. It is one of absolute divine rigour and precision..

However, in the Holy Writ of his geneaology of Jesus, it is very clear that he was of the chosen. For this he was never a 'white man'. He was coloured.
