The impropriety of it.

It does not speak too well of David Cameron, PM of UK to wax as he did re Nigela Lawson, the celebrity cook and imbiber of cocaine.
For this, voila, he has been most fittingly chastised:

From our PM here in Canada and across to most western natons, men have assumed the summit of political power in their respective nations by this route:.
                                                    1. an excellent education
                                                    2. a law degree
                                                    3. good looking wife
4. service in the  political party machine
                                                    5. election to public office.
                                                    6. take over of the political party

In another age, men who assumed the summit of political power, had a good education, served as a combatant in his nations wars, returned to civilian life and accomplished something, usually in business and he then entered the political arena and fought his way to the top.

They never used the back door of service within the political party machinery to get an easy electoral constituency and from within the party become its ruling personage.

These two tracks produce quite different personas - the former tends to very clever being but in character is weak and weedy; and the latter is a battle tested man of sound sense and insight..

The only country that has produced the most number of truly battle tested men for high office is Israel.
