Is it true that Communism is intrinsically an unworkable failure.
Atheistic Communism was indeed an unworkable failure because the Christian West was determined to see that it would fail. Thus following the seizure of power in Czarist Russia by Lenin, the counter revolutionary forces immediately started their efforts to topple the future USSR. It did not succeed, but the West did everything to cripple it.
The West certainly did everything possible to bring down Fidel and Cuba. It has successfully crippled it.
China also came in for a very testing time. Its trials and tribulations were enhanced by the contributory shenanigans of its Great Helmsman. However, today, China has taken the capitalistic road and so it is a success.
The one place in the world where it is said that Communism was tried and allowed to do so without any crippling interference from the West was in Israel and its Kibbutzim movement. Its communism was deemed to be Deistic Communism. The evidence is the Kibbutz of Israel did thrive and were successful. And the success was enjoyed by the greater collective good of its members to the present.
So, is Atheistic Communism an "intrinsic" failure. It is, with the help of crippling interventions by the West.
So, is Deistic Communism an "intrinsic" failure. Not on the evidence, as the West does not impose its crippling strictures on it.
Is the contrapunctum of Communism - Capitalism, an intrinsic success?
It is not, if it is Wanton Selfish Capitalism. Then it is a total failure.
It is not, if it is Western Capitalism dedicated to the greater collective good of its consumers, whilst earning a good profit for itself by its trading efforts. Henry Ford proved this and so does Warren Buffet.
What do we mean by Wanton Selfish Capitalism.
What we mean by Wanton Selfish Capitalism is when you get the Chinese to produce your so called brand name shoe for $1.00 and then you ship it back to LA and sell it for USD$149.00 and in Canada you ask CAD$189.00.
When you get a worker in Bangladesh to work for CAD$1.25 pre day to produce 400 shirts and then you ship it back and sell each shirt for CAD$18.00.
Once upon a time, Capitalism was about selling the best product for the lowest price possible.
You do remember that, don't you?
