to be and then to die.
All known human religions have tried to answer the implicate question about the meaning as to the fact our being and then of our death.
What is emerging is that, in the West, there is a welling up of a significant body of high intellectuals who have decided that for them the answer is:
ATHEISM.
We have found this 'intellectual' proposition that in the end what is for us:
EXTINCTION and OBLIVION
is an utterly tasteless offering. However, we had no answer to this; and at the same time we found the ideas that came from religion too tendentious and perhaps bordering on the absurd.
Then recently, we stumbled upon Arthur Koestler's experience-in-actuality of his extinction. This meant for us an epiphany to see a new and different answer as to what death is really all about.
For this we wrote a paper on it and we have now posted in our web site.
Let us say what we have to offer is far better than the promise of:
1. an eternity gazing into the beatific vision or a forever in the fires of Hell with father Satan
or
2. a paradise of a mansion of 72 virgins in each room and 72 mother-in-laws
It is about an inevitable eternal expansion into an infinite void of awareness, meaning and understanding. You will will want to know what is the logical basis for this; and how the argumentation unfolds to underpin it.
