This is something new . . . for some, if not for most.

If you check it up in a dictionary, the word "littoral" stands for the shore of a lake, sea or ocean.
In this instance:

these litoral ships are produced for combat for the coast.

So which coast are these ships really intended for? 
Surely not for combat along the littoral border of Israel, Great Britain, France, Denmark, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Nippon, Australia, New Zealand . . . . ?

You see, you already know against which littoral coastline these ships are designed for . . . primarily.

So now, is this sane or insane?

Does the U.S. really intend a land war in this region of the world? You mean. after the infamous Bush land war in Iraq, the U.S. really wants to take on this land war. 
What really do you think the American people have to say?
